Yesterday, Sunday April 5, residents of Greater Vancouver Area enjoyed a sunny day and a spectacular atmosphere, as a preview of summer we are waiting for the families of Vancouver got pleasure from the sun in various parks in the area.
We were at Barnet Marine Park where children delight to play with the sand, running on the edge of the beach, playing soccer and other sports. Some families ventured to the traditional BBQ so typical of summer. The adults enjoyed a good day of fishing for crabs.
At Barnet Beach, Burnaby’s only official salt-water beach, there’s a network of trails, nice views up Indian Arm and across the inlet to Deep Cove, and Cates Park. There’s a dock for fishing. Make a picnic; enjoy the sand or watching the ever present parade of power boaters.
Ayer domingo 5 de abril, los residentes de Vancouver Metro Área disfrutaron de un día soleado y con un clima espectacular, como un anticipo del verano que tanto esperamos, las familias de Vancouver celebraron el sol en los diversos parques del área.

Estuvimos en Barnet Marine Park donde los niños se deleitaban jugando con la arena, corriendo en la orilla de la playa, jugando soccer y otros deportes. Algunas familias se aventuraron a hacer los tradicionales BBQ tan característicos del verano. Los adultos gozaron de un buen día de pesca de cangrejos.
Barnet Marine Park ofrece un buen lugar de esparcimiento familiar, es la única playa de aguas saladas en Burnaby, tiene diversos senderos para caminar, brinda una vista espectacular del Indian Arm Provincial Park, y a través de Inlet al Deep Cove y Cates Park. También tiene una estación de pesca y mesas para picnic.
Barnet Beach está ubicada en North Burnaby en el 8383 Barnet Highway.
