THE CELEBRATION: on Thurs. Oct 29th, 7:30pm-9:30pm spend an evening drinking hot chocolate, eating traditional Bread of the Dead, visiting the altar exhibition, participate in workshops of alfenique (Sugar-Skull making), and enjoy performers while judges choose the best altars.

Come and celebrate life by honoring the dead in the most traditional way, by setting up and decorating an altar. Sign up with your friends and family to commemorate someone special and be part of our competition, teams of 4. Information about the tradition, history and elements will be available to inspire and guide you. A starter kit will be given to every team. Open to everyone. Be creative, be outrageous and have fun!
The Altars setup will take place on October 25th and will run till November 2nd. Setup time will be the 9am to 8pm.
No participation fee. Great prizes for the winning teams!
