Mexicana Jimena Navarrete gana el titulo de Miss Universo 2010 en Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jimena es la segunda mexicana en ser coronada Miss Universo, Lupita Jones gano el titulo de Miss Universo en 1991 en una ceremonia llevada a cabo tambien en Las Vegas.

Jimena Navarette as the new miss universe 2010. Jimena Navarette was known as a models in mexico before she was crowned as the Miss Universe 2010. She was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. This 22 years old beauty won Nuestra Belleza Mexico beauty contest in 2009. Navarrete studied nutrition prior to her participation in beauty pageants.
Navarrete is Mexico’s second Miss Universe; Lupita Jones of Mexico won the title in 1991. Navarrete replaces Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela.
Jimena Navarrete won a package of prizes including an undisclosed salary, a luxury New York apartment with living expenses, a one-year scholarship to the New York Film Academy with housing after her reign, plus jewellery, clothes and shoes fit for a beauty champion.
